Jix Hobbies Events and Tournaments - Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Jix Hobbies!

We're thrilled to have you participate in our hobby events and tournaments.

To ensure a great experience for everyone, please read and understand the following terms and conditions:

1.  The Right of Admission:

• The right of admission to events is reserved by Jix Hobbies.

2. Event Registration:

• How to register or book for each event is advertised separately. Please follow the provided instructions.
• To participate in our events and tournaments, you must register in advance through our official channels.
• Registration fees and deadlines will be communicated for each event separately. 

3. Code of Conduct:

• Above all, we are a family-friendly hobby shop, open to the public.
• We expect all participants to maintain a respectful and friendly atmosphere during events.
• Unsportsmanlike conduct, including but not limited to cheating or disruptive behaviour, may result in a penalty, disqualification, or a ban from the shop/game.
• Fake cards/games/miniatures, etc., are not allowed and might result in a ban or disqualification.

4. Age Restrictions:

• Some events may have age restrictions, which will be clearly communicated in event descriptions.
• Minors under the specified age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

5. Event Rules:

• Participants are expected to be familiar with and follow the rules and guidelines specific to each event.

• Failure to adhere to event rules may result in disqualification.

• Some rules may be predetermined by the manufacturer or distributor of the games/products. 

6. Liability and Responsibility:

• Jix Hobbies is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during events.
• Participants are responsible for their own equipment and belongings.

7. Photography and Marketing:

• Jix Hobbies may take photographs and videos during events for marketing and promotional purposes.
• By participating in our events, you consent to the use of your likeness in promotional materials.

8. Prizes and Awards:

• Prizes and awards will be distributed according to the rules and regulations of each specific event.
• Jix Hobbies reserves the right to modify prizes or award criteria as necessary.

• Prizes and awards, if available, may differ from event to event and will be communicated in the advertisement and at the event.
• Not all events will have a prize or award.

9. Cancellation and Refunds:

• Jix Hobbies reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events for any reason.
• In the event of a cancellation, registration fees may be refunded or transferred to a future event.
• A cancellation or rescheduled event might not always result in a refund.

10. Health and Safety:

• Please adhere to any health and safety guidelines provided during events, especially in light of any public health concerns.

11. Amendments to Terms and Conditions:

• Jix Hobbies reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions as necessary.
• It is the participant's responsibility to check these terms and conditions regularly for updates and changes.

By participating in Jix Hobbies' hobby events and tournaments, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
